At a rally for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, Tesla CEO and American billionaire ElonMusk made an appearance in Butler, Pennsylvania. Musk participated in the event, held at a location where an assassination attempt on Trump occurred last July. During the rally, Musk urged U.S. citizens to quickly register to vote. He stated, "If we don't get Trump elected this time, there might not be any future elections in American politics." Musk emphasized, "I believe this is the most important election of our lifetime. This is not a regular election. To protect the Constitution, President Trump must win. He must win to save American democracy. He must win.
Addressing the crowd, Musk warned, "If Trump doesn't win, this will be America's last election." His speech, lasting seven minutes, concluded with the slogan, "Fight, fight, fight! Vote, vote, vote!"On July 13, during a rally at the Bethel Park Fairgrounds, Trump was the target of an assassination attempt. The assailant, Thomas Crook, fired two shots, one grazing Trump’s ear.
The attacker was then shot dead by a Secret Service sniper responsible for Trump's security. At the time, Trump raised a clenched fist, shouting, "Fight, fight." Following the attack, Musk conducted a special interview with Trump on his X platform, which was broadcast live. Many believe Trump is relying on Musk’s popularity to secure his path to the White House. In August, Trump had said that if he wins the election, he would offer Musk a position as an advisor or a member of his cabinet, should Musk be interested in such a role. Trump's vice-presidential running mate, J.D. Vance, also spoke at the rally, addressing Democratic nominee Kamala Harris, saying, "Donald Trump has been shot for democracy. What have you done?"
