**TALLAHASSEE, Fla. --** Bill O'Brien reminded everyone that it's just one win, but what a significant victory it was to kick off 2024 for Boston College and the O'Brien era.Treshaun Ward shined against his former team, amassing 138 total yards, including a 13-yard touchdown reception, as Boston College shocked No. 10 Florida State with a 28-13 victory on Monday night.Ward, originally from Tampa and a former Florida State player from 2019 to 2022, contributed 77 rushing yards and 61 receiving yards, helping the Eagles (1-0, 1-0 ACC) rack up 263 rushing yards.This marked a powerful debut for O'Brien, who took over in mid-February after Jeff Hafley left to become the Green Bay Packers' defensive coordinator."I'm incredibly proud of these guys," O'Brien said. He completed 10 of 16 passes for 106 yards and two touchdowns, added 73 rushing yards, and scored on a 4-yard touchdown run.
