Leaders of BNP and allied organizations of the ward were present. The program was moderated by Ataur Rahman, Joint Convener of Turag Thana BNP.
In the president's speech, Haji Md. Shafiqul Islam said, during the regime of the previous autocratic Awami League government, no people were available to manage the activities of BNP or to form committees in Ward No. 54. But today, new BNP workers are seen scattered in this ward. They are creating extortion and anarchy in various places by defaming the name of BNP. Ward No. 54 should be resisted at any cost and made an extortion free area.

Chief guest Haji Md. Mostafa Zaman said in his speech that extortion will not be allowed in the name of any BNP leader or anyone else in Turag and Uttara areas. We are united to prevent such anarchy. Turaga will not be allowed to create any kind of anarchic situation. I declare this area to be extortion free from today. He also said, we will form committees in each ward consisting of students, public and teachers, who will monitor who is collecting donations and they will take immediate action. Haji Mustafa Zaman also said, I was a member of the former managing committee in this Kamarpara school. The school was greatly improved then. But after the Awami League government came to power, the school property was written in the name of Bangabandhu Trust. We want to bring those properties back to the name of the school with the help of the people.
He criticized Sheikh Hasina's statement and said that Sheikh Hasina always claims that she has not done anything for her sons and daughters. But in reality, Sheikh Hasina and each member of her family have received 60 katha plots with a maximum of 10 katha plots.
We demand that Sheikh Hasina be brought back from India immediately and brought to justice for the genocide of the students. Through this protest rally, BNP has pledged to take a strong stand against terrorism, extortion and anarchy in Turag and vowed to keep the area terror-free with public support.
